    40hp johnson

    i have a 93 johnson j40tletb and a 8 hp 4 stroke johnson kicker, took it in to have some service done . i had them teed off 6 gal. tank. they cut the hose to the kicker off,said i couldnt run off the same tank, said this would mess up the vro,is this right? really dont want to run 2 tanks

    whats the deal, having to buy new control cables , just to get the paper clip thingys that hold the pins in the engine ends of the cables, no dealers in id. or wa. will sell them seperate.

    have johnson 40-j40tlet done comp. test, #1 reads 145 psi, #2 reads 155psi. is this exceptable? dont understand schrader valve,and running tuner thru, does just running tuner in just straight without moving arm do both carbs at same time, thanks for any help.

    well i got both wheels off ,the one that came with the teleflex steering and one that came with the boat a seaking with the cable drum. bad thing . the seaking wheel is about 2 inches to wide for the shifter.need to know how to remove cable from teleflex, have either lost or misplaced...
