    Relay or Trim switch??

    My tilt/trim lowers down fine but works intermittently when pressing the up button. I can hear a "click" at the relay when I press the button but no movement most of the time.Once in a while it will "catch" and raise up. Does this sound like a relay or should I replace the switch?

    Question on spark plug wires

    I recently put a brand new set of plug wires on.Engine runs great.I put some dielectric grease on the coil end of the wires but not the spark plug ends.Should I have put some inside the spark plug boot too?

    I have a 95 Mariner{aluminum} , and there are a couple of tiny pinholes/chips in the transom.From these tiny holes this clear sticky goo has been coming out.What can this be? The glue inside the transom wood? It's not a lot , just trace amounts that come out. I have been just sealing the holes...

    Telltale water temperature?

    What is the normal temperature supposed to be when squirting from the pee-hole? Flushed mine out last night for 10 minutes after use in saltwater and the water stayed cold. Good strong stream though. Does the temperature vary from time to time?

    Spark plug wires need help

    One of my plug wires has a bad end , where it plugs into the coil. My engine is a 3 cylinder.Should I replace all 3 plug wires or can I just replace the bad one? Also , are most marine plug wires universal or do they need to match the horsepower rating?

    Lubricating a shifter

    Is there an easy way to put a dab of grease in my quicksilver shifter or does the entire unit need to be dissasembled? The large black button that engages nuetral is just a little sticky , not real bad though.
