    Can someone confirm for me the bolt length of 309924 bolt for lower crank bearing to crankcase not the one for the bearing plate? This is 1/4-20 x 7/8 hex with star washer I think?

    Needle Valve keeper to float missing. Evinrude 100hp 1984

    What would the symptoms be on 1984 100hp evinrude if one of the needle valve keepers was not attached to the float and actually missing? Anything is possible but I think the keeper was not there when I took it apart. Thanks.

    Guys, I have two OMC service manuals(one for 1984 and the other for 1988) and one shows the cork gasket inserted into the valve body first and the other one shows the thermostat inserted first and the cork gasket over the top. Can both be correct?

    bored and honed .044 over but looks very thin

    83 Evinrude 100hp. I have all new Wisco pistons have the block bored and honed .044 over but the steel sleeve looks very thin on one side especally at the "splines" at the ports.
