    i have a 1998 johnson 35hp pull start outboard.I did notice two wires, yellow and yellow/stripe coming from underneath the flywheel.they are not connected to anywhere.what do i need to do to be able to charge a battery?

    Your honest opinion on this outboard....

    Can I all you avid boaters out there, your opinion on a 1998 Johnson 3 cylinder 35hp outboard. According to my local outboard service centre, they have only seen 1 of these outboards.Also he told me today that OMC pulled it from the market only after two years. Any remarks?

    Empty oil mixer

    I have an oil mixer connected on my fuel line between the dual fuel pumps and carbs, if I rather premix my fuel and run it through the oil mixer (no oil in storage tank), will the premixuture reack the carbs ok. I don`t want to chance the oil mixer failing and siezing the engine.
