    2005 Johnson 90hp tach not working

    I bought a 2005 seaboss and it has a 2004 or 05 90 hp 2 stroke saltwater edition motor and the tach is stuck on 4200 rpms. I assume it is propoably the Tach its self? Where can i buy a new tach? are they all the same?

    I just recently brought a 05 Johnson 90hp saltwater edition and was wondering what is the best 2 stroke oil to use? Also my arch on the boat one,t working- best to check the tach its self first?

    1989 force 85 water in gear oil

    I just went to change the lower unit oil and noticed some water in the oil as i went to drain it. it was not a lot of water but there is WATER. what might be the cause of this? should i fix it ASAP or can i get by with it for a while?

    1989 force 85 hp. rough at part throttle

    I have my 85 hp that starts great and idles fine and goes great at WOT, but it seems to skip from 1/4 throttle to 3/4. what might cause this problem? any help would be great thanks!!!

    1989 85 hp tilt trim stop working!! help

    I was just boating and messing around running the trim up and down. went to dock the boat and get ready to trailer it and will not go up or down. when i push the trim/tilt toggle it sends power to the solinoid and i can here it click, but that is all it does. if i run the boat and try triming...

    1989 85hp Force runs fine then will not restart

    I have a 1989 force 85 hp, starts fine, runs strong, pulls skiers, will troll for hours. But after i have run it for a little while and i shut it off it will not restart till i wait for a while. some people say it could be ignition coils? so any help would be great thanks.:mad:

    removing seat back rest?

    I have a 1989 force 85 hp. what is the suggested starting procedure? this motor is very cold blooded. also it seems to bog down when giving it full throttle. i have put new plugs in it, put quicksilver quickcleen in the fuel. what else can i check? does the quicksilver powertune work better...
