    Quick paint question

    On this small boat I am goin to paint can I use Pettit easypoxy single component polyurethane paint on top and bottom? This boat is not goin to sit in thewater for than a few days at a time, and it certainly not going to be a fast boat. Would this paint work?

    Ona 56 johnson 10 hp is it possible to put a remote starter on it. Instead of the pull rope?

    1956 johnson 10hp qd17 low idle problems

    I got it started today it ran good at a higher rpm when I would to keep it at a low idle it would just die. I was thinking the problem was just the idle setting any input would be greatly appreciated.

    On a 1956 10hp Johnson are the supose to be o-rings at the fitting when the fuel line hooks up at the motor fron the quick connect?

    Is this right? 24:1= 2.6 oz oil to .49 US gallon . Is this what I need to use for 1956 Johnson 10 hp qd 17? Really what i an looking for is is i put 5 gallons how much oil would that be?

    Fixing old boat of Granfathers

    I have recieved this boat that was my grandads.I was to fix it up a little it has sat a about 10 years. It is a 71 12fter . He put a 1956 Johnson 10hp on it. What i was wondering is whats the best was to paint the fiberglass. I would like to kind of restore the motor cover to its original state...

    This motor has sat a while should it have a major tune up. or should i just check plugs wire, gear oil that kind of stuff. And i was wondering if anyone knew what the oil/gas mix is on this thing. model # is qd 17 r . thanks for help
