    Evinrude 225 runs hot low rpm

    E225cxcce runs very hot if under 2000 rpm The pressure seems good 8-10 lbs. Above 2000 rpm the temp drops to the low edge of the green and will stay there all day. Any thoughts? Thanks Bruce

    Operating temp

    Is it normal for an outboard ( E225 cxcce) to run hotter below 2000 rpm than it does above 2000? I dont overheat while idleing but I am on the edge of the red. Once above 2000 rpm the temp drops to the center of the green. Everything seems to run finr I just dont want to do any damage.

    2003 chevy 1500 HD surges at idle

    The 6 liter motor in my truck surges between 450 and 600 RPM at idle. The computer shows no codes could this be a mass air sensor or a tps or does it need a tune up? It has 83000 miles.

    stator overheat

    Could a stator melt down without taking out the reg/rec and or a power pack? motor is e225cxcce. I am thinking of doing the power pack,and the stator but I replaced the reg/rec this spring could it have lived?
