    5.7l 2bbl tune up

    i was wondering what u merc gurus would consider a good tune up.....it a 5.72 bbl. in good shape, doesnt use oil , no knocking, and valve seals seam good. but just doesnt seam like she is as strong as she used to be... side note: any suggestions on a little better than stock 2bbl or small 4...

    hey guys...i am wanting to wet sand and buff some oxidation off the top of my boat....the question is...what are the pros and cons of removing the buttons off the hull for my custom cover to make buffing easier and make it look more uniform, the boat is a 96 and they are caked with (oxidation?)...

    when flushing on muffs.....

    when flushing on muffs are you supposed to trim down your drive? some one told me it was hard on the ujoints or something to have it in trailored position....also does it hurt anything running on muffs for say 15 min at idol....i dont get to get out but once or twice a month and i want to run...

    SS vs. aluminum

    after replacing the throttle control......and cables.....paying for storage fees all winter... and i need to change prop pitch and dont want to spend 400 dollars on a new ss prop.....i have a 21 ft 5.7 l alpha one......i run on the ohio river, so the question is what exacty would i gain or lose...

    seat problem

    dont understand these brakes

    i have a 21 footer with a 24 foot tandem trailer......the brakes work off the goose neck movement i suppose.....they have locked up a couple of times when i have had to get on the brakes a little hard....is this the norm with this system or can i do some maintenance to fix the problem

    throttle control is a piece

    i have the quicksilver 2000 with trim and trailer......its stiff feeling and the trailer trim button down at the bottom of the control works right half the time....can anyone suggest a good control...i really want something the is smooth and has good response....its a 5.7 merc
