    Not really. You'll just have to pour thru different parts diagrams for different years and look for small changes in design.

    There is probably no thermostat installed. Many people take them out, and you'd never know it until you open it up. You need your thermostat. A cold engine will idle poorly, blacken the spark plugs, develop a power loss, and cause a sludge to ooze out of the exhaust after you're done running it.

    Mercruiser Trim Sender Problem

    I just had this exact issue! Thanks a million. I will check if there is variable resistance on the alleged trim switch. I bet that is what's going on, cuz the sender will work in place of the switch, but not vice versa. Dang you, Sierra! I though I was gonna have to pull the drive again. 🥵
