    powerhead swap

    I have a 1982 40hp mercury with a bad cylinder. everything else on the motor is in great condition. Will a will the motor from a 1973 40hp swap fairly easy onto the '82 with out to many mods. how hard of a job is this for the backyard mechanic. Thanks

    interchangability

    will parts from a 1982 40hp fit on a late 60's 35hp. I have a 40hp with problems and a 35hp that need a starter and a few little things. Are the lower units the same. I need to know if I can make one good motor out of these two not so good motors. Thanks

    66 35hp seal kit

    I am getting oil out my wheep holes in my lower unit so I want to replace the seals in the lower unit. It is a 1966 35 hp and I can not seem to locate a seal kit for it. Can anybody help me out on where to find one. Thanks Chris
