    need help getting the right fuel pump kit

    The motor is a 1975 evinrude 70hp, the # on the front of the fuel pump is worn out, so i went with the kit ebay told me to get, #393103 guess what, its the wrong one. The back of the pump reads 328781, which doesnt match anything. I just need to know which kit i need theres like 4 different ones...

    should I be using a "transom saver"?

    I have a 1964 starcraft runabout, when trailering i just use a piece of 2x4 to give the motor just enough ground clearance, i dont feel comfortable towing with the motor on the tilt lock. Ive heard about these "transom saver" brackets and most boat manufacturers dont recommend them, however...

    installing bilge pump

    How do i go about securing the bilge pump to the hull in the bilge of my 1964 sea mist? As far as i can tell the boat has never had one and i dont want to drill any holes. I have it jerry rigged for now with a wooden dowel pushing it up against the transom rienforcement beam, but its not proper.

    33mph at 3200rpm? even possible?

    So i took my 1964 16' starcraft sea mist out last weekend with a new faira tach that i installed its set on 6. At wot it ran 33mph gps speed while the tach said 3200rpm is it even possible to be that overpropped? Or is my tach wrong? Engine is a 1975 70hp rude with a 13 3/4 x 15 stainless prop...

    need info on old omc tachometer

    Im hooking this up to my 1975 70hp evinrude, the tach sais 121707, im guessing the positive goes to the slotted screw? And ground to the nut in the center, but im not sure. It looks like it has 3 different settings, they're not marked so i dont know which to use. Thanks, Rich

    plastic windshield cloudy, hard to see through. replace it?

    my wrap around windshield on my starcraft sea mist is cloudy, is there any way to fix this? there is a place in keystone hights FL that makes new ones starting at $350 is this a resonable price? thanks.
