    Wiring question

    Now I have an older pontoon boat and none of the gauges work. Could it be a bad relay? I just am not sure where to start. Should i use a DMM or test light? Could I do a voltage drop test..could it be corrossion? Do the gauges require +12? Any help would be great.

    working on a 5hp 4stroke tohatsu 2005. is the compression low on all of these motors or do i need a rebuild. compression was 70. i have heard of some motors running on a low compression just dont know it is one of these. if you have any knowledge of these motors your knowledge would be appreciated.

    Please help

    I have am 03 merc 20hp. My friend gave it to me with the lower unit disassembled. I put a new water pump, fuel pump and rebuilt the carb. I headed down to the lake and it started fine (one pull) Idled perfectly, Starts to accelerate but wont open all the way up. Any ideas??

    Mariner 9.9

    I got a mariner 9.9 and the serial plate is chipped in one spot. The numbers that i do have are 682 C? 003327. Im thinking the question mark is a 3 or an 8 maybe. Any help would be great. Where would i buy parts for this motor could i just go through a mercury dealer? Thanks alot
