    water seepage

    hi.<br />i have a 1998 mercruiser 3.0lx alpha 1 <br />problem is at beginning of season i had a small amount of water seep out(egg cup full)between head and block,since them this has stopped<br />question is should i change head gasket or leave alone??. :confused:

    stalling engine

    i have a 3.0lx/alpha 1 ,problem is when i shift into gear engine sometimes stalls,similar to when i shift into neutral engine rpms fall to almost 300rpm then comes back up to idle,set idle speed is aprox 800-900 rpm.<br />any ideas out there??

    fuel pump

    i have a 1998 mercruiser 3.0lx with alpha one drive,the old mech fuel pump was giving me problems with hot starting(fuel evap from carb)so taking along time to fill back-up while cranking engine,so i was advised to fit a s.u electric fuel pump,this is a fairly low pressure pump and switches...

    hi.<br />i have a 1998 mercruiser 3.0lx with an alpha one<br />drive.<br />last year it was serviced with new impeller,gear oil etc,boat used for 20 hrs and then stored,should i still need to dump gear oil and change impeller? :confused:

    mariah bimini cover

    i have a 1998 mariah shabah 18ft bowrider with a bimini hood,anyone know where this should be stored while motoring,there is a space under the engine cover(inboard 3.0.lxmercruiser).<br />but the frame seems too wide to fit in!!.<br />i know that the weather in the u.k usually needs the hood up...
