    1963 evinrude 5.5 hp

    I just got this motor running and it wasnt pumping water and I just pulled the power head and lower unit off and found that the water pump impeller on it was still in really good shape so now im wondering why it isnt pumping?

    Do I really have to pull the powerhead on this engine to change the impeller.. I read somewhere that you had to even though its between the upper and lower unit??????

    First year anniversary gift

    Me and my girlfriend... (not wife).. Are having our first year together coming up in 11 days.. Im trying to think of something unique to do for her but im drawing blanks.. I know the traditional thing is paper blah blah but traditional is played out.. Lets get crazy.. throw me some ideas...

    Old carb help

    Im so dumb when it comes to outboards just started messin with them.. and I have an old 1963 evinrude 5.5.. Had no fire.. replaced the coils.. BIG blue spark now.. so thats solved.. next thing is the carb.. I pull the choke.. First pull on the motor it pops one time Really loud and wont start...
