    help with painting boat

    i have a 74 kona fiberglass boat ......its all faded and i want to paint it ......i really just want to sand it and paint it white so i can get another year or so out of it ...then ill buy a new one......so what paint would be the best to use just to give it a sand and paint ......imj thinking...

    prop help what size

    ok i got all the info had the boat out today ......it is a 74 kona 17 ft with a 115 hp mercury outboard and it has a 4 blade 17 pitch ......took the garmin WOT does 39 mph at 5,100 rpm ........so what i want to do is get a little more top end speed so maybe a 3 blade 17 pitch or 3 blade 19 pitch...

    what prop to use?

    hello im new to the forum and i have a question i have a 1974 17ft kona boat with a 115 mercury outboard it has what i think is a 19 pitch 4 blade. my question is i would like to get a little more top end ...the boat gets out of the hole real fast but only goes like 35 maybe 40 if trimed...
