    1963 evinrude no spark

    I've got a 63 evinrude 75hp outboard. I have no spark. I ran a jumper wire directly to the coil and still no spark. It has points and they all are clean. I believe the timing is close . Powder to the ignition but no fire. Help me out please.

    what year boat???

    I recently purchased a sea craft boat. The paper work says its 12ft boat but it measures 15ft. I believe its pre 72 as it has no HIN. It does have seagull badge on the step up to bow. There is no numbers anywhere please help me.
