Hey man look I am just a kid and I don't have a lot of money boat, trailer, and all I have $2000 in this. I can't afford very much so i'm really not sure what I can do here with not alot of money.
I do have a picture of the crank bearing where the rod was ejected. But where that housing has melted the piston head and head cover are melted but the walls of the cylinder are a little worn but are not too bad and i might be able to hoan them out.
I don't know a whole lot about 2 strokes and boats in general but do you think that that would work right there especially when that ring has to go back on?
I actually bought it not running a week ago but a rod was disconnected from the crank and I found that and was assuming that the owner just didn't take care of it.
I'm in southern Indiana. The cylinders are fine but the housing for the crank has melted from wear. I haven't torn it the rest of the way down yet but I will probably need a piston and rod as well and maybe a crank but am not 100% sure.
