    1957 Johnson Rd-19 35hp questions

If you have the pump for the oil you could adapt that to work with a bike pump. If you don’t have a way to hook up a gauge drop it in water and look for bubbles. It only needs like 10 psi so don’t over do it with a compressor.

Primer solenoid assembly for 1988 48 hp Evinrude.

Pic’s have been a problem for a few weeks now but its being worked on. The manual position would be for say your battery was dead and you had to start manually. The solenoid normally works when you push the key in. It acts like a choke only better. I grew up in Fl and recall some cool...

Primer solenoid assembly for 1988 48 hp Evinrude.

Can’t see a pic if you had one but if your asking about the red lever it would inline with valve body for run position or turned 90deg for manual position.

    Need to vent....

As a kid I spent a lot of time riding BMX bikes. I can’t tell you how many times I said watch this and it ended with a trip to the hospital. 😂 Then there is the odd 💩 that happens. A few years ago I was raking leaves ( how dangerous can that be) the handle broke hit me in the mouth and I...

    1998 Evinrude 90 SPL WORTH

Not terrible but a bit low in my eyes. If that’s what they really are. If you can’t check for yourself don’t believe it.

    1998 Evinrude 90 SPL WORTH

Personally I wouldn’t even be thinking about it. 6 bills for a 27 year old motor that’s not in good health is likely a bad plan. Jmo

I would love to help I can’t quite picture what you are saying. All I can say is try and remove it in the reverse of how it would be installed if that makes any sense.

    Lake temp

Keep it simple and toss a pool thermometer over the side. Or what ever friend ticked you off last and use their reaction to gauge temp 😂

Is there a tag on the carb with a number on it. That might get you a little closer to a possible year.

    1982 25hp top cylinder won't fire

Sorry I missed the new fuel pump Part. But at the same time new doesn’t mean much to me any more. Especially when it comes to things that are supposed to be fuel resistant. On a side note I got a set a brake calipers for my buddys truck not long ago and one of them didn’t have a piston in it...

    20volt drill

Well my DeWalt 20 volt drill went for a swim this morning in salt water. I soaked it in a bucket of WD-40 and blew it out with the air gun. It’s still going but any bets on how long before it gives up?
