    nice show...great location

Sorry to hear all that. But it's still a cool lookin' collection. That's neat about the 105! I didn't know that. Would have liked to see a year or two of them flying 15s - just because of the performance of the airplane. But probably wasn't even close to practical.

    nice show...great location

Did the 'Birds ever fly the THUD? Or is that just a fun paint job? I've been around both teams my whole life. Even. worked the flight line with both. I've seen the Angels in all the aircraft since the Scooter, and the birds since they were flying the Phantoms. That's a lot of work in those models.

    71 silverline comoro

I dunno' if Mercruiser used the Buick motor or not, but OMC did. Your drive is defined by the maker of the leg, not the engine. Do you know what make the stern drive is? They put the tilt switch in different places too. OMC was usually a toggle switch on the dash.

Raise and lowering the outdrive is more dependent on the type of drive you have. What type of motor (make) is it?

Learning to wake board at 48. What am I doing wrong?

Not sure on a wakeboard (never tried it), but on the knee board I didn't lean back as far as on the skis. It was a slightly different "balance" even when we tried making a ski-disc than skis. Snow skis, you always leaned a little more forward. And water skis, you kinda' dug in a little by...

    BMW headlight . . . $1,000 !!!

I actually had the same problem start on my '92 Mustang. We've had about two weeks of rain, and I've had to drain about 1/2" of water out of the passenger headlight. It's not as cool as Scott's round headlights ... but it's not $1k fix either.

    Forums are very slow…

We're not really sure what is going on with the store. And to the best of the MODs knowledge, the site isn't being too actively maintained at the moment. The forums are hanging in there, and we're proceeding like business as usual. But, outside of that we're all kind of in the dark.

    Forums are very slow…

It's the site. Not sure what's happening, but it seems to be more in the latter portions of the week right now. But some days the site is super slow. When (if?) we find anything out, we'll let y'all know.

    Stringer 400 oil plugs washers

I don't recall seeing nylon washers on any of my plugs. But, I don't know that you couldn't use a material like that. What kind of compression are you getting?

    Don't tape holes.

Have you tried an eraser wheel with the tape? I use them to remove decals quite a bit, and I'm impressed with how well they do - even with old baked on stuff.

Vinyl Plank Flooring Installation Decision ???

I like the cross grain look. In some of the older homes I've seen where there different generations of wood, they had a lot of cross patterns like that. I've heard - don't know how true it is - that a general rule of thumb is to run the grain along the same path as the greatest source of light...

    Boats from work.

I've never sailed a shoal keel (short and heavy) but I've heard that their kinda' sluggish. Bilge keel like that I would think would be kind of the same ... big and bulky, so it won't heel over and go.

1982 Seaswirl 120 OMC Stringer IO

Have you been greasing the swivel on the outdrive? Grease zerk is on the front of the intermediate housing behind the red plastic "bolt." If that's not greased, exhaust gas can get in there.
