    Well I backed as much of her in the garage as I could with the rain but I have all the glass finished. Ground out the cracks on the gelcoat for the transom and will be using the fairing putty on it and the floor today. I hope to put the non-wax gelcoat on the bilge area today.

    Bow is all reinforced, I couldn't believe that there were stress cracks here! Finally my glassing is looking like it should......transparent!

    Another noob mistake discovered! When I repaired under the consoles it splayed a bit so now I'm down to doing this before final adjustments on the windshield. To my defense though the shelves underneath were rotted so that didn't help I'm sure 😉

    Just a small update. I finished the flotation foam today and am planning on ordering the last of my resin this week and then fair it smooth and hope to start gelcoating in a few weeks.

    In regards to PL I asked the the same question and Scott D. said it takes a couple of weeks to "gas off" and if I'm not mistaken should not be sealed up till then.

    One thing I wanted to mention is that I extremely admire alot of your fiberglass work, I am certainly missing something when doing it but I know she is battleship solid. If I ever do this again I certainly will need to practice beforehand.

    My daughter is getting married on the local lake which I'm hoping to get her splashed by then, even just to test run things but alot to do before then. The weather up till now has been so uncooperative which you all with garages that fit your boat are soo lucky! 😊

I am glad I did this because my boat is narrower being a 4 cyl. which left me having to make many angled cuts underneath which would have made it hard to get them in the proper orientation to each other.
