    First Halloween w/o a pumpkin or passing out candy!!

    My almost 12 yr old son, is now hanging w/ buddies in their neighborhood, guess he's growin up! :) But hey, I get to drink good beer and watch the Giants! And hes gettin dropped off here - we had his buddy overnight last night, and had Halloween bbq and costume contest in our complex :)

    I got the short elbow bypass coolant hose up front by dist., and the driver side heater hose to control valve, how to get heater hose next to it(passenger side, right next to it)heater control valve) off and short L shaped one(looks like it has a cotter pin thru clamp/it??) to heater control...

    11 yr old son hepled w/ oil change and belts

    On the 99 Yukon, did a fair job of watching me, getting drain pan, prepping new filter and pouring in oil, and we did the easiest belt change, I'd never done it on Yukon, wow, a 3/8 ratchet to pivot tensioner, yank off old belt and install new, like a 10 min job - firgot to tae pics!! Next time...

    87 Toyota starter, grinding

    only 120K on car, i think I just need to clean starter up, anyone done this? I get a grind once in a great while, like Bendix spring isn't engaging. I really don't think it's worn out at this point. Thanks and I'm having a heck of a time finding rebuild kit and replacement cooling system hoses...

    anyone ever have gall bladder stones?

    Finally found out what was buggin me(probably forever!!) had an ultra sound and it's gall stones - what causes it? I know I have to drink lots of water etc, read up on some causes and treatments. Liver and all my other guts all good :) Just curious :)

    Mr Cody cat good!!!

    He;s definitely back to normal, knocking everything off counters, being his usual playful self, no more limping, stitches out next week :) Yayyy :) but he wants to go outside, I'm not sure if I want to let him!!! :)
