THE 1-1/4 OF THE CARB MIXTURE SCREW,,, TIGHTED CW IT AND CCW 1-1/4 TURNS ... THE IGNITION IS THE BTDC 4-6 DEG [650-800 RPM ]... THE DWELL METER IS THE AROUND 28 DEG ..THE RPM IS 650-700 RPMS IDLE ENGINE ..
THE CARB IS THE FLOAT ADJUSTED IT .. DOWN AND THE UPSIDE CARB DID THE TOP CARB .
the starter electrical motor did the water inside that boat . then the brushes of the holder and the armature ...
take it off and inspected it ....
I was my dc motors 50 yrs ago .....600dc -12 DC volts ..
THE OUTDRIVE IN THE FALL SEASON , TAKE IT OFF INSPECTED IT .. DID THE GREASE AND THE OUTDRIVE GEAR OIL .
The water 5 plugs take it off .... also the antifreeze in the engine ... T -STAT ..

my MCM470 year 1978 . the voltage regulator is worn out is done ... the stator of the front engine is the stator coils . the 2 wires yellow/red the stator coils take it off the wires ... the red wire take it off voltage regulator , and the alternator updated it off the alternator output...

yes that resin polyester wooden then the fiber glass ....
the boat is the draining of the vessel plug take it off in the winter .... also the wooden boat is the damaged also the plywood .

take it off in the fall of the outdrive ,,, then inspect it... bellows ,,,,,the shaft/shifter grease it ,, moly grease ...
every year in the fall ....the outdrive gear oil is inspected it ..
The engine rpm 650-700 RPM , adjustment is 8 degrees BTDC, Mercruiser ... Now reset the idle to 725 and recheck the CARB mix. Repeat til it is adjusted to correct mix and low idle at 8 degrees and with 140 degree thermostat, engine warm.
the gasoline is the gas filter and the gas tank vent .....
the engine is running and the gas tank is that cap OFF ... the engine is running 20-30 min ... OR the ignition TB IV ...
the carb is running of the engine ...
the gas fuel and the ignition issue ..gasoline is the water issue
the oil...
the outdrive taking it off. inspect it and lube the grease . inspect the bellows .
also the outdrive gear oil ,..did the water of that inspected it..
the engine is the spark plugs take it off ,and the marvel mystery oil 1OZ ...in the cylinders .. then the spark plugs on engine ..no running in...

the engine is the decades 8 deg BTDC of the timing .... now MERCRUISER BULLETIN the NEW gasoline is the 4 deg, timing BTDC of the RPM 650-700 .. ...
