    1993 Mercury XR6 150

    150 mounted to a 18' Laser bass boat with 8" set back jackplate, 5 blade SST prop, only running around 41-42mph,trimmed out, tachometer not working so cant give the rpms. 2 new triggers, new voltage regulator, all 6 wires firing, compression is 120+ on each cylinder. does this sound right?

    86 tower of power 115 missing at wot

    115 on my bass boat with a 4" jack plate purrs at wot until i start to trim it up, then she starts to miss/sputter, can trim it back down a little and she purrs again fuel delivery when trimmed high? these old mercs will only trim so high, so im not over trimming/over riding the trim thoughts?

    1985 merc tower of power 115 stumbles on throttle

    my 115 will stumble and stall if i try to give it throttle all at once, if i give it a little at time, i can feel it start to pick up and then it takes off and runs perfect. i can stop and fish and the same will happen again. carbs have been cleaned professionally, im guessing fuel pump losing...

    1985 "tower of power" question

    my 115 enrichment valve is clicking but nothing comes out of either hose, see if it is connected correctly, top hose goes to top carb bottom hose goes to a tee that feeds all carbs does it matter which way it mounts (see pic) appears to me to be upside down but if it doesnt matter.... thanks...

    mid 90s evinrude 70hp ptt not working

    was working fine then just quit, replaced the TT solenoids and they just click when up/down button is pushed what am I missing here thanks

    1995 Erude 175 where does this hose go?

    where does this hose connect? I assume it comes off of the fuel pump, one end connects to the block then it "T" to the picture attached. I have a manual but it does not show hose routing. thanks

    1995 yamaha 115 shutting down

    my 115 is doing what it is supposed to do as far as shutting itself down and reducing the rpms to protect itself, the dash says it is running hot, motor has new impeller and new thermostats - water stream is strong - soon as it shuts down I can place my palms on the heads and hold them there...

    stick steering cable replacement

    trying to install a new steering cable in my stick steering system, problem I am having is the cable will enter the housing, I move the stick to "draw" the cable in and it does but then the cable is centered correctly for the motor or the stick will only go one way - I know im doing something...

    Merc 115 "frozen up" help!!!!
