    Thanks alldodge. I've pulled the hingepins. There's a little slop in the bushings, but not terrible. I have misplaced my mike, so don't have an exact measurement, but I'd say the washers are on order 10 to 20 thousandths. If anyone knows what thickness they are supposed to be, please holler...

    Can anyone point me to a spec for side play tolerance on the bell housing on mc-1 (1980)? Seems a little excessive but there’s no slop up and down. Could be the shim washers have worn? Thx.
