    I stumbled across a gallon of Evinrude branded two cycle oil that is rated TCW-2. I think I bought it in the early to mid 90s. Would it be OK to use in a modern engine made in 1997, or 2007? My gut tells me it should be fine, especially if I use it mixed 1:2 with my current stock of TCW-3 oil.

    I have my dad's old 18HP Johnson Fastwin but unfortunately the prop has somehow gone missing. What's the correct prop to run this motor on a 1648 Jon boat? I also need shear pins and a prop nut, correct? Are those a standard size? Thanks in advance of any help.

    Whats the consensus using plastic slips under an aluminum painted hull!

    I just replaced the carpeted bunks on my trailer with plastic slides. You can’t imagine how much sand and grit came out of the old bunks when I flipped them over. There’s no way the plastic slides will hold any more abrasives that carpet already does.
