    If spark plugs are in good running condition swap the coils, should work OK on top cylinder and miss, have issues on lower cylinder. If so, one it's shot, better install 2 new ones in, motor will work much better. Happy Boating

    To start with must swap the M25 carb/intake gasket for the M30 gasket which has a larger internal dimeter to allow more air intake and advance the timing from 20 deg to 25 deg.     Check if the motor has a sticker seen side of the pan, if so will tell the exact model. The M9.9B2 is the previous version to the M9.9C2 and the M9.9D2 it's the latest version under current fabrication. Same applies for spark plugs as mentioned previously... Happy Boating

If that were true there would be a huge wear at both crankcases's ball bearing round mating/sitting sides. If all bolts remains well torqued to factory specs there should be 0 bearing...
