    Bayliner has come a LONG way since the 80's and 90's The hull construction has improved still a very decent product. Now at the end of the season people tend to unload to bypass future storage. Do your homework ;)

    If you are confident - it should last if it was cleaned and dried. There is no oil that is in the motor so there is really nothing to contaminate - you could also place it on a cookie sheet in the oven at about 150 (for about 1 hour)to make sure it's dry.

    If she is buying used...... the cvt frequency of fluid change is around 25K SO, if she finds one look for documented maintenance. If people got a new CVT I am sure they were "guided" by maintenance techs to get it done.

    aluminum wheels stuck to hub

    I use a palm sander and smooth out the mating surfaces of the aluminum wheels...... apply never seize and done. I also use the spare tire as a weight - swing it into the flat and there is usually enough mass to help get a stuck wheel off. Got to love living in an area where salt and liquid...

    I have a 22 Hybrid Camry XSE and drive it like it was stolen and still get 43 mpg and better if I drive "normal". My wife has a 21 Rav4 Prime PHEV and gets great MPG and holy cow is this thing quick! AND to round out the fleet is my 07 Taco with a V6 which still gets 20 MPG. I am sold on...
