    I dropped off a shotgun yesterday at the gunsmiths, they had just got in a beautiful 1911, always wanted one now I will have one. Will be my carry/truck gun. Same ammo as my judge, except the colt won't take the 410 rounds with brass discs and buck shot.

    I like to use the finders to pick out spots, I can not stand them for ice fishing. You go with the guys on a Friday night out to the shack and everybody just stares at their screens. Bobber and a minnow and a beer for me.

    Ice fishing flasher depth finders pick up the lure. Forward scanning depth finders pick up the lure really well if you buy the $20 crank baits designed to be picked up and displayed.

    Plus it is not purebred the mahogany seat backs were salvaged out of a Starcraft. This boat is a culmination of all the little parts and hardware I have accumulated. Not sure if I will install the NOS step and trim trim tabs on it, those have some value to old tin guys.

    Nope it will get done before ice out, I do not consider tin boats worthy. Perhaps a sub division but not the same level as wood or glassing.
