Outboards are for boats that anybody can run. They are simple and anybody with two braincells can operate and maintain, 4 strokes even more so, it is like a car you just put gas in it.
This boat will not see temps below 40, only time it is wet is when it is being used. I bought it as a stored indoors boat when not in use will continue that.
I do know this you could put a much bigger motor on the back. With that transom and sturdy build the boat was rated for a 35 hp. I used to have a Deep C that was kinda close to what you have except the steering was in the front.
Decided to have the pinstripe replaced so I will have the pros remove the old stripe. Will use the erasure when I reregister it in MN and remove the old numbers and license stickers.
