Seriously, I was this close to going with Gonzaga for the championship and then I thought, "Heck, everybody's going to pick them." So Baylor it was. Interesting tournament.
Sometimes blind luck is your best friend. I had my Iowa Hawkeyes beating Oregon and going to the sweet sixteen to lose to Gonzaga.
Common thread seems to be B10 teams coming up against better defense than they've seen. Heck, better than they ever imagined.
And I can promise you Bassman has NO idea what he's doing.
In many ways, Loyola is the most impressive team I've seen. Their defensive play is incredible. I'm an Iowa fan so I'm used to seeing lackluster defense.
