    Yes sorry from left to.right....the red or orange wire going to that stud is ground not power... left big terminal is batt...small ones are start...and ign. And then to starter...that's how it's always been wired since I bought it...these problems are new

    I have replaced solinoid with the serial you.mentioned. replaced terminal ends..took alt and coils to auto electric shop...all turn out great shape. I now have keyed ignition but still no spark from coil wire. Does this resistor wire affect starting or spark from coil as that's the only thing...

    I have removed all the electrical tape and have found the resistor wire at its loop. We're do I get a new one or s it special wire

    It's a ford. The one odd thing is at the solinoid. I have never had a problem with turning engine over from the key. Now unless I have a ground wire to the soliniod the key won't work. Having that ground kills the power to the coil. Even if I jump it to turn it over there is no spark from coil...

    I have cleaned all connections. Test light shows full at solinoid but weak at ignition terminal....full at choke but weak at coil and there's a section of wire getting hot wich includes the choke wires

    I replaced the 40 Amp cb and it did fix trim pump and cigarette plug...but not the no spark from coil to dizzy

    Also along with this power issue my leg won't go up or down and my cigarette plug doesn't work either

    There is 3 wires...one ground..power and exciter

    I hooked it all back up the same except the alt exciter wire I ran to coil neg by accident....maybe that has fried something like the 40 am breaker

    Alright so here goes....there are 3 wires going to solenoid as well as the 12 volt to battery and then one for starter. There was 2 grounds I took off the plate solenoid was supported by. I hooked them back up as before and no keyed ignition. With key on I have 12v both sides of coil. Only way...
