    no brand name on them . so i think 10 new ones are gonna be in order. but first getting the wiring. then the end of january getting the switches , lights, ect...... i should be on the water for late may early june. hopefully if all goes well.

    easy to remove yes but not easy to dispose of... lol as for the switches i may end up replacing them with new ones that light up .

    here is a few shots of what i have done so far. i still have to try to countersink the screw on for the switches or i might just epoxy them in place. i need 5 more of these style. hopefully i can still get them? and still have to drill the hole for battery cutoff .

    if thats the case why wouldnt i see mold anywhere else in my boat? the heaviest concentration of it is under cockpit sole. and thats where the previous po kept the fuel tank. . there was nothing stopping the fumes ect from entering the main cabin as there was no bulkheads after the settees...

    this is not my boat, however this is what i have to look forward to when i get the paint outta the screw heads. i will then proceed to take them all out. maybe keep some but not likely. and make storage under there instead.

    ok so ive decided to go with idea number one. and here is the start to the switch/monitor /charger panel. keep in mind that i have not marked where anything is going as i havent got everything i need..... but this is a teak wood panel ....

    idea 3 is up in the air, and thats to make a new box over existing switch panel and make it an opening one. then just place battery under companionway door. but with new wiring and all the switches im gonna need for everything that will be installed. monitors ect.

    idea 2 would be box made of pine tongue and groove under the companionway, battery strapped in middle, off to both sides would be switches monitors chargers, ect, the fuse panel would mount inside to the back of the box. and the new wiring for all lights and accessories would either come in...
