I prefer wires that have a fully MOLDED on sparkplug boot. It is easy to pull at a bad angle on the sparkplug boot in tight spaces. That can ruin the connector tightness in the right angle boots of the NON-MOLDED plug connectors.
Any seals that need to hold against ....Positive Pressure and Negative Pressure ( vacuum ). The seals MUST be placed in a certain way on the shaft.
I forgot the most important thing. The shaft bearings MUST NOT have any wear that allows shaft wiggle.
Your props are determined when you have a FULL LOAD of stuff and people in the barge.
Empty barge ? The captain & rev limiters will protect the engines. It is that simple.
You MUST MUST get an install those seats !! They have ALL the foam flotation molded under them. Those seats ALSO keep the hull sides from FOLDING into the boat. GET THEM !!!
I have a very smart charger. It is old. I have it set for the A123 "D" sized cells used in my tool packs. It charges at 30 amps. NO problems with battery life at or above 90 %.
The REAL danger is if the battery leads are shorted for a split second. The insulation melts off. The heat is so...
I have 12" long file that is just for removing paint. I rub chalk into the clean file teeth FIRST then use the file to remove paint I also have a File Cleaning Card to clean the file teeth as needed.
Looks good enough to me. Some closed cell foam between the floor beams. Sheets of Exterior plywood. Will the finished boat be stored indoors? Or left outside to rot ?
Were are all the seats with the floatation foam under them ?
Many people are NOT using A123 Chemistry batteries. All LIFEPO4 batteries are not going to be A123 chemistry batteries.
A123 is a patented chemical process that only the company of A123 can make and sell. A123 can be stored for years at 100 % of capacity with a full lifespan. I will go to...
If you HAVE TO discharge the battery to 50 or 60 % of capacity ?
You have a generic Lithium Battery chemistry.
It is NOT a true LIFEPO4 chemistry battery.
I have true A123 Brand of LIFEPO4 batteries. I harvested Black and Decker power tool packs. Some have been stored at 100 % of full capacity...
