    Ayuh,,....... Merc uses a hard black/ greyish paper sorta gasket,..... The ones I've got are Sierra, from Napa, 10, or 20 in a little bag,... I keep a dozen or so, hanging on my oil pump tank, I use for fillin' the drives,.... Always handy when ya need one,....

    Ayuh,....... It took quite awhile, with many brow beatings, 'n even phone calls, but ole DonS, convinced me to put a dab of Prefect Seal, on any part, or bolt you think you might want to take apart again someday, or even the parts or bolts you think you'll never ever want to remove...
