Yes sir. The 1987 Johnson 110 had 120 compression on all cylinders. Starts right up every time. I had a mechanic look at it at time of purchase. I rebuilt the carbs, although they did not seem to need it. Great motor. Maybe a Honda 150 one day.
Getting the splashwell reinstalled was the hardest thing I have done yet. A combination of not clamping the transom when glueing together and all the epoxy and fiberglass cloth I used in this area made getting the splashwell and trim back on very difficult.
One side is 1/4” and the other is 3/16”... But I do have a question about aluminum alloy. The angle I used to tie my transom to my stringers is aluminum alloy. The very next day someone at work brought me 100% aluminum angle. Do I need to worry about aluminum alloy?
