    Black lake New York

    Just got back from 4 days of fishing on Black lake. The pike fishing was unreal. 20 to 30 inch pike by the dozens. Countless largemouth. This was my first trip to this lake but not my last. We lucked out on the weather for sure.

    I ran my trolling motor off the same battery as the outboard. when I went to start it the starter spun but the bendix did not kick in. However the bilge pump and livewell pump ran good off the same battery. Are these starters that sensative to a slight votage drop that this would happen...
