    I am repowering my boat with a 2017 F115 Yamaha, Id like to utilize my Lowrance HDS 9 Gen 2 for engine data. Ive found cables on amazon as well as on the lowrance website that appears to make this possible. Has anyone done this?

    Gas Tank Replacement on a MR220

    40 year old tank with who knows what kind of crud in it. Putting a brand new 4-stroke on it and dont want to pump and of that through the new outboard.

    Has any one ever changed the fuel tank on their MR220V? I have a 1985, that Im switching to a 4-stroke and I want to put a new fuel tank in. Any problems I might run into?

    1985 22' MR220V Mariner

    SHSU Believe it or not it was alot worse, pulled out nearly a trash bag of old wiring. Put in the dual bank, the isolation switch, & the bus bar. What I could back trace and kept got bundled, labeled everything as I went along.

    Got a lot of rewiring done, cleaned some stuff out of the console, new nav & anchor lights, new under-gunnel LEDs, new bilge, all new runs of tinned-copper romex insulated wire for those. Pulled out whatever I could back trace. That's about what I'm going to do this year, plan to do more next...

    My concern is the proximity to the bilge and the path of any water on the deck to the bilge. I'm hoping to unmess this and move what I can to the console.

    Picked up my first stracraft a few weeks ago. Its an 85 Mariner MR220V. Ill be using it for duck hunting and fishing on the great lakes and the larger inlane lakes in Michigan.

    Hello All, I wanted to introduce myself. I am a 30 something engineer in the Metro Detroit area, I am an avid outdoorsman, fly-fishing, hunting, camping etc. I recently acquired my first boat, a project non the less. I look forward to the wealth of information I am sure this forum is.
