    Thunderbolt 800 Control Cable Issues

    I received my new control cables today and went to put them on but I need a diagram of how they attach at the enging and will probably need one for the control head as well. Where should I look to find something like this?

    Thunderbolt Distributor Part

    I have been unsuccessful in finding the pictured part for my thunderbolt 800 distributor except in a distributor kit not for my engine. Can these parts be purchased separately and if so where? I need 2 ea.:)

    Thunderbolt 800 - 1975 or 1972

    I have a Mercury Thunderbolt 800 that has the year 1975 on the title but when I look up the stamped Serial Number on the motor...(see Attachment) ...it falls in 1972 on the ID Charts. I'm confused and not sure how to order parts. Any ideas?:redface:
