    its been cooked , possibly leaned out from the looks of the melted alloy on the cylinder bores. 2 strokes don't like heat , running with a lean mixture makes heat , heat causes seizing , seizing causes melted alloy on the bores . motor is toast !.

    looks like its burned up pretty bad , scrap it and go on the search for a later motor. "" unless it has sentimental value" , if so spend $1000 + in parts to get it up and running again.

    i found a cheapo AM set , advantage of the $12 set was when i pulled the drive each time to rectifie a shift issue the gasket didn't break into pieces like the 3 $40 serra ones did.

    i personally have a thing when it comes to lag screws/bolts" let sleeping dogs lie' unless absolutely necessary to take them out IE: when parting a hull.. agreed .it is easier to remove the lag bolts " however 1 or 2 stripped threads when replacing is not an easy fix.
