    302 valve seal and gasket replacement

    I took my heads of and removed valve springs to do the seals and a head gasket. I have reinstalled them and it won't start or stay running. Something doesn't sound right either. I removed intake again and there are 3 push rods really loose. Is it possible my lifters may have moved or what else...

    Old 302 head job

    I have pulled my heads and installed new gaskets and seals. Nothing else changed. Now after install it won't stay running and doesn't sound good...any suggestions

    Overheating

    Morning i have a 1975 campion boat with a ford 289 and it overheats when under load. The thermostat is not in the block it is iine from the heat exchanger to the hoses. One going to water pump.i dont think this is right.
