    I took it out today and ran good. I'm going to pull the spark plugs tomorrow and see how they read. I still have the bog if I crack it open fast. But I never do anyways its not a race boat

    Lol sorry. I was posting on a different thread I had going and switched here in hopes the fellows I was talking with would respond here. I have a new rochester 2gv and it's been a headache. I pulled top off to check float heights and the keeper is missing and the plunger is wrecked

    I haven't the foggiest as to were the float keeper went and as to why the accelerator pump boot is ripped. It seem to have went together fine when I put top back on.

    Just pulled the top off my carb. Not only is the piston boot ripped but the float keeper is gone

    I haven't had boat out but after changing those jets I just went to run boat and I had to prime my carb...seems the float bowl was empty. ?

    Everytime I hear the word detonation I panick and think I've done damage to my new engine. Its never pinged hard or have any odd smells or gotten hot. I will run these jets and do a plug check

    I have found jets from tripower as suggested. I'm going to order them and also check float height when I pull it apart. Is there much sense taking it.out if it's bogging out. I don't want to flood out in the middle of the ocean lol

    .77 installed...got it up to temp...seems abit boggy if I throttle up fast..if I ease in seems better. I guess water trial will tell the tale

    It was autoline who said .67 the carb guy slid a peice of brass in and then used caliper and suggested it was .70

    I went to a carb shop and he doesn't sell parts. However he measured mine wich were 70. He happened to have a set of 77 and gave them to me. Shall I throw them in and see what happens

    Beings I have the top off the carb can I just take that to a carb shop and have them check and set the float. I've never done it

    The pressure is good. I just pulled my jets out and they have no number of course. Autoline did tell me .67 so hopefully that's what they are. Anyways I will get .68.69and .70
