I have returned... with a Starcraft this time!

Well, we went fishing yesterday and bypassing the big fuel filter/water separator worked. Engine surging of the 50HP Mercury outboard went away. At some point I may remove the filter, but I'm in no rush at the moment. Here's the link to yesterday's fishing. 🎣...

    Nobody fishing?

We went fishing yesterday. It was a beautiful day and I caught a few; missed a few. Later in the day, my wife caught some too. The boy got skunked. 🦨 🤪

    Rec gas prices???

Yup, back down to $3.99/gal. here today. Down from $4.39/gal. just a few days ago.

    My new trucklet!

Yeah, I'm hoping that Hyundai comes out with a Hybrid or full EV Santa Cruz in two or three years. I'd buy one.

    Rec gas prices???

I could go for hydrogen fuel. Three times the energy of gasoline, quick fill ups and exhaust is water vapor.

    My new trucklet!

And a couple weeks ago we took the Kingfisher out and caught the first fish of the year for us. Fun times! :D

    My new trucklet!

I did some more truck stuff recently with the SC. We had to replace our refrigerator, so I borrowed a buddy's trailer and picked up a new one. No biggie for the SC. Last week I picked up six 60 pound bags of sand for a home project. The guy in line behind me had a jacked up Ram 2500...

How Far Can an Electric Truck Tow?

Yah, plenty of numbers out there and more coming! 🤪 Here's the thread for my Santa Cruz. I guess I should update it, it's been awhile. 😏 https://forums.iboats.com/threads/my-new-trucklet.751332/

I'm getting unknown sender emails that I can't block

Thanks, that did the trick! (y) :) On the webmail version, the sender was showing and I was able to block them. Of course, I hadn't used webmail for a couple years and also have new equipment, so had to go through a password reset. 🤪

How Far Can an Electric Truck Tow?

The Maverick can only tow 4,000 pounds. The Hyundai Santa Cruz can tow 5,000 pounds. https://www.motortrend.com/news/2022-ford-maverick-compact-pickup-towing-hauling/

    Some good stuff happening

We got the second set of pegboard panels installed today. It was a simpler job because we didn't have to span empty air. We just riveted them directly to the galvanized steel uprights. I ordered some more pegs and we'll figure out what stuff we want to mount on the boards. But in the...

    Some good stuff happening

It's been a while, but I'm now getting more garage work done in preparation for our next project. The goal is to organize the shop better and to provide more room. The first step was to clean a bit and make some more room. And the next thing was to finally install the plastic pegboards my...

I'm getting unknown sender emails that I can't block

Today I've received 3 emails (so far) from an Unknown Sender with subjects like Fat Burning Secrets, You've Been Chosen and so on. Seriously scamming but I'm having a problem. I'm on Windows 10, using Outlook 2016 installed on my laptop. With other such emails I simply right-click on them...

I have returned... with a Starcraft this time!

Thanks guys. I'm just glad to be able to do stuff and provide updates. 😏 We had rain here overnight and most of the day today, heavy at times, so the tarp and bow system got tested. I'm happy to report that it worked well! @Moserker Frankly, in the decades that I've owned boats, I've...
