    There is a quad ring which is placed inside and next to sleeve and bellows. When drive is installed the quad ring seals all areas I miss-spoke, quad rings are used on Alpha not Bravo

    If you can find the motor serial number (under cowling) we can figure out which manual you need Most all small boats are defined by the motor. If you know the motor then you can figure out the wiring and system setup

    Need more info on the old motor Was it a GL- something? It might be the key switch, see if 12V is at the coil with key ON

    Fuel gauge normally works off ignition key, but with all the other things not working look for a wire that is disconnected from battery.

    You said starting fluid would not help to keep it running, which tells me your loosing spark It's not the coil Might be the ignition switch. Measure voltage at the coil to see if 12V is dropping
