Dingbat, no. This is the first time anything has been a problem. I've heard about that problem. School me!!! How do you test for that? What does the corrosion do and how does it affect the performance? As always, THANKS!!

Solid repair shop for boring force 85 cylinder

Contact Wiseco They have a find your parts menu once you open their site. The rebuild isn't that hard to do. Just don't try to remove the exhaust chest cover as it's VERRRRY difficult to reseal it without getting the surfaces milled.

Water not coming from pee tube.

2003 Yam 200TXRB About 300 hrs. Motor starts and runs fine. No water from pee tube, even if taken loose at the rectifier. Tried weed eater string up in the rectifier and nothing. Should I try taking the rectifier apart? Would this make the cylinders overheat? Temp was high on the center cyl...

Always include the model and serial#, make it easier to get the right parts. Yours has the electronic ignition, the 2 packs, both don't usually go bad. See about testing the stator, I don't have the specs, sorry

    Chrysler 115 outboard

Your right, the mounting template is different. I just made my own when I needed one. As far as Chrysler vs OMC: OMC would be easier to get parts. If you have a running OMC/Chrysler run it till it dies.

1990 Force L-Drive: A LOT of fun but a few issues... Gear Selection & Lower End Stuff?

You have the model/serial# for the motor? The prop was held on with a Nylock nut. They don't usually come loose but can strip and back out. Not very often??? The prop comes off when shifted into reverse.

1989 chrysler force 50 hp 507X9B timing specs.

First thing, compression test? Then check the fuel pump diaphragm. Lots of twin cyl. motors actually run on 1 cyl. check the spark on both cylinders. Clean the carb and make sure the jets are clear.

    warning horn

IF??? it's making any kind of noise??? that shows the system's working. The horn/buzzer is small and very hard to hear. On my boat I removed the buzzer and replaced with a motorcycle horn. If you can't hear that?? then get hearing aids. :) You can use car horns too. Just make sure the horn's...
