The rebuild isn't that hard to do.
Just don't try to remove the exhaust chest cover as it's VERRRRY difficult to reseal it without getting the surfaces milled.
2003 Yam 200TXRB About 300 hrs.
Motor starts and runs fine.
No water from pee tube, even if taken loose at the rectifier.
Tried weed eater string up in the rectifier and nothing.
Should I try taking the rectifier apart?
Would this make the cylinders overheat? Temp was high on the center cyl...
Is the scuff mark bad enough that you can feel a groove? A groove deep enough to catch a fingernail? Yes? Then you might need a bore of .010 ???
and a new piston too. Wiseco parts is the best way to go.
Unfortunately I don't know about a shop in the NE.
Closest I can get is Md. Jet Machine shop...

The parts diagram i have really shows a jumbl'd mess.
Always include the model and serial#, make it easier to get the right parts.
Yours has the electronic ignition, the 2 packs, both don't usually go bad.

As far as Chrysler vs OMC: OMC would be easier to get parts.
If you have a running OMC/Chrysler run it till it dies.
You have the model/serial# for the motor?
The prop was held on with a Nylock nut.
They don't usually come loose but can strip and back out.
Not very often???
The prop comes off when shifted into reverse.
First thing, compression test?
Then check the fuel pump diaphragm.
Lots of twin cyl. motors actually run on 1 cyl. check the spark on both cylinders.
Clean the carb and make sure the jets are clear.
IF??? it's making any kind of noise??? that shows the system's working.
The horn/buzzer is small and very hard to hear.
On my boat I removed the buzzer and replaced with a motorcycle horn.
If you can't hear that?? then get hearing aids. :)
You can use car horns too.
