Yes, I figured that I just did not have the right size.
My new M2 MacBook Pro arrives tomorrow, and since I ordered a new one, old one is working fine after the recovery installation of the OS. (it figures  )
Would that be Clearwater FL? It looks like they do custom work and don't have any retail distribution to speak of.
If I go a buy-new route, I'll reach out to Cruisers Yacht Tech Support for any guidance, Just a matter of finding a good fit for the boat. I have a critical dimension of 25"...
I was wondering if the shank will be weakened by straightening it. Also, this anchor has a 3/8" thick shank, while I see others at 1/2" thickness.
I am wondering if this anchor is a little sub-standard.
These are the sharp edges that apparently cut the anchor rode as we were...
I had an anchor mishap today while anchoring at the local sand bar.
The shaft is bent and the rode frayed because the roller flange that the anchor & rode feed through had a sharp edge to it and eventually cut through the line and the bow anchor & chain went into the bottom

1990 engine, so it is the Mark IV version .
I’d say a fuel issue, given the amount of time it’s been unused. Fresh gas is one thing, a gummed up carburator is another
the knock retard values are much better, only going to 2.45˚ during acceleration/load conditions. Before it was pegging at 5˚ and activating the warning.
I was just reading in one of my many Mercury manuals that Vessel View has a ‘personality profile’ that gets loaded by the boat manufacturer giving the system the unique characteristics as deemed by the manufacture. The number of steering wheel turns lock-to-lock is part of the personality...
It turned out that the fuel pump kit was the wrong one. It seems that there are 2 very similar fuel pumps, but they are not exact. The parts list may have called out the wrong kit. So, the day's plans were scrubbed.
I ordered an entire new fuel pump.
It does not seem like the manufacturer (Mercury, etc.) could have made this any more complicated. My understanding from various Internet folk lore is that many Dealers/Service shops can't figure this stuff out.
All this "CAN" stuff makes my head hurt.
@dingbat . . . Based on your...

Not sure if this is related to the speedometer/GPS source issue, but . . .
I got a VesselView warning while coming back from a day on the boat . . . it turned out to be a 'Compass' warning of some sort, as if the 'compass' thinks we were lost. The warning message said to see dealer...
I did find an installation drawing- there are a couple of GPS wires that are supposed to be connected. I’ll be checking those to see if that is the case.🤔
If I push the button enough times, I get to a “GPS speed” screen that says “NO DATA”. So maybe a GPS cable is not connected, but I’m not sure if SmartCraft works that way. 🤔
It’s part of the smartcraft system. So, assume it comes over the network cable.
here is the antenna (Mercury GPS400)
.
Not sure if there is a separate feed to the Speedo. I think it is all over the common network cable that connects to all the gauges.
