    With motor OFF and Key ON, use a voltmeter and measure the TPS to see if it goes from around 0.1V to 4.3 or so volts. Will see this when throttle is moved from idle to WOT in throttle only mode

    Moved to Merc section Seeing Diacom is showing 0 but throttle plate is actually moving this is strange. Guessing the motor is DTS correct? Attachments not working, we hope this can be fixed but not as yet

    Have used Techmate for years, and Rinda is the only tool maker other then Mercury G3 and it's dealer only There are some tools which can display engine data but not so far as clearing codes.

    Start by checking compression to verify health of the motor, should be close to 10 Bar. Highest and lowest cylinder pressure should be within 10% Next get into the carburetor, most likely the idle circuits are clogged

    The Merc area is the Mercruiser area. You had it in a section which would get very little views and being a shift issue it is a motor issue It should help with that, but going all the way to 6 o'clock position may be other issues. Try adjust first then we can see if there are still problems
