When I drain my Bravo 3 drive, the lube bottle also drains at the same time.
When I fill, I fill from the bottom until it reaches the vent. Install drain and vent plugs and then fill the gear oil bottle.
I never got around to it but I was considering putting in a wire from the rear of the trailer to the tongue and have a short cable that went to the boat battery to a plug back there. I have to have a breakaway battery for my EOH system.
I rinse my brakes every time after dunking in salt water so that is why I never had an issue. Kinda dumb not to do that actually but some people do not maintain their stuff very well.
Since the regular pads are the exact ones used on some older GM cars, just replace the pads more often or go...
More than likely which is why I didn't get one that big. Mine is 26' which is plenty.
R8 would be a nice size if I wanted one step bigger in a Cobalt. Twin outboards but way less maintenance than 2 sterndrives
