    My new trucklet!

We are about to pull the trigger on a 2022 Plug in hybrid 2022 Santa Fe. Not sure I would tow much more than 2K with it though. Impressive tech on these Hyundais. I had no idea until I saw one in person.

    Spare wheel hub... usefull?

If you were backing your pickup into water multiple times in a year...you might! Regular maintenance is the key. Pulling the hubs is the way you do it. Not just shooting grease into the LAZ-Lube zerks.

    Spare wheel hub... usefull?

If you are the type of person that might get sand in your hub while inspecting bearings, you should probably hire someone to maintain your trailer. Personally, I think it's kind of funny when I hear people bragging about minimizing their maintenance. Not something I think I would be bragging about.

Jacking a tandem axle trailer safely

2T=4000# You don't need to get both wheels off the ground. Just the one that is flat. Half of the weight on one side will still be on the good tire. I have a 26' boat*not quite as heavy as yours) and I have no issues using it on it. Get a 3000# aluminum jack. I have a big tote that I carry a...

Jacking a tandem axle trailer safely

I carry an aluminum 2 ton floor jack with me when I tow. Your plan of driving the good tire will work fine. You may not even have to jack up the flat tire depending on the trailer.

    Spare wheel hub... usefull?

Well.... obviously your maintenance plan needs to change. You need to start pulling the hubs.

    Spare wheel hub... usefull?

So..out of curiosity, how often do you pull your hub to inspect bearings? And I am not talking about just pushing grease thru with the LAZ-lube "feature"...actually taking off the hub.

    2021/22 - CFB

Personally, if you do the fake slide, the ball should be returned to the line of scrimmage, 15 yard penalty and loss of down.

    2021 NFL - Week 13

Nice having the Jags to play to get out of a losing streak. Kinda like playing the Lions.

    Spare wheel hub... usefull?

On my last boat trailer, I welded on an axle stub and mounted a spare hub/disc on it. Then my spare tire was mounted to it. Got a spare tire mount and a spare hub all in one.

    Cannot Get Dust Cap On!!!

Measure the hub and the cap with calipers. Out of curiosity what is the outer cup/race number? That will tell you the diameter of the hub. BTW...they do make 2" as well as 1.988" dust caps.

Inverter with shore power - Question ???

That has the builtin transfer switch I mentioned before.

Inverter with shore power - Question ???

Many inverters have a built in transfer switch. It makes the shore power the priority so that it basically bypasses the inverter function when shore power is live. If your inverter does not have an internal transfer switch, there would likely be an external transfer switch. Follow the shore...
