    General MAP sensor question

motor not running it should match what your local weather station lists for that time once running there should be more of a vaccum so it should change

Suzuki DF250S pumping fuel into air intake

that fuel running everywhere can catch on fire, does not sound like a good way to go. very bad to watch your boat burn as you jump overboard these kind of things is why6 you should sign up for Seatow or other policies. or ask a friend /neighbor to pull you to the ramp. 3 miles is not far

that is mainly to make sure TDC mark/ pointer is correct

VIDEO: Runs Perfect For A Minute Then Red Light Comes On, Motor Shutters & Stops.

well if the alarm is not for low oil pressure then it is probably for overheat or maybe oil pressure out of range

Suzuki DF250S pumping fuel into air intake

I have never worked on a DF250 so not much I can say about it, I have no idea where the pump is on your motor just thinking about how injected Yamaha motors are set up with a VST. those are serviceable by taking them apart

Suzuki DF250S pumping fuel into air intake

VST is the Vapor separating tank. it houses the high pressure fuel pump that feeds the injector rail

    Bad Spark plugs?

when you pull/unscrew a plug on a running motor the compression will blow the plug out and probably take some threads out of the head with it as it shoots somewhere never to be seen again. also the coils are not on the plugs, plug wires maybe what you are trying to talk about

    Bad Spark plugs?

I see no way you can pull the plugs on a running motor I would guess cleaning the injectors or replacing the plugs is what helped

Suzuki DF250S pumping fuel into air intake

where is that fuel coming from? if from the VST then the float is not closing off the fuel when the VST is full. extra fuel dumped onto a gas motor floods it, not raising the RPM you have to have fuel and air in the proper ratio to the motor to run properly. adding fuel without adding extra...

    1989 DT115- High idle 'scream' then chugs/quit

I am not any help on that old Suzuki, just mentioned how some motors advance timing electronicky to increase idle RPM

    Bad Spark plugs?

Just my opinion, the ones with the tan colored porcelain look like they should, the ones that are still white are not getting proper fuel to burn properly

    1989 DT115- High idle 'scream' then chugs/quit

some outboards advance the timing at start up and then drop timing back to normal, this causes a fast idle during the warm up. service manual for your motor should give specs for timing, and is easy to check to see what it is with a timing light

DT200 Power Head Experience - Remove Cylinders?

I never heard of a outboard that you could pull the cylinders out of the block. have you looked at the parts breakdown to see what it shows?

Yamaha 2014 F175XA WOT RPM Drop

only a restriction would cause the bulb to collapse . the pump sucking OK but not enough flow did you loosen the gas cap to see if that helps? does the pick up tube have a sock/screen on it? maybe the anti syphon valve sticking

Yamaha SHO shutters and shakes, no acceleration

I would think since you are not getting any alarms, then you are left with possible low rail pressure due to plugging VST filter or plugging injector screens. at least that is what I would start out looking at

Yamaha SHO shutters and shakes, no acceleration

do you have gauges on that boat to tell if there is a problem with the motor? and do you know if the alarm systems work properly?

    Warning buzzer

As far as I know the only thing that will set the alarm off is over temp on that motor . pull and test stat for proper operation and look inside the passage behind the stat to see what it looks like. My brothers C60 tends to set off the alarm when running WOT. when we pull the stat there is...

    Warning buzzer

Is this a C60 or is it oil injected? always good to post complete motor info, so everyone knows what motor you are talking about

    Warning buzzer

water pump and stat would be what I would look at

Help , no high speed ...

float setting will not help if the lift pump can not keep the VST filled. monitoring the lift pump pressure and rail pressure will tell you something about what is going on when the problem shows up. if the tech ran it on the water, surely he monitored pressures to see what was going on
