    Xpress didn't put the draft of the boat on the website (that I could find). If you don't already own it, I would call / email the dealer or manufacturer and see what they say draft is. - Then you can start adding in crew, rigging and "load."

    Good chance it's from the late 60s or very early 70s and so didn't require a HIN on it. And also as reasonably possible it was bought from Sears or Montgomery Ward - and the plates that were there just came off over time. Neighbor of ours had a boat they bought from Wards that looked like that one.

    I don't know for sure on the newer models, but on my old electric shift the zinc was actually on the hull. It was mounted to the starboard side of the transom boot.

    If you're electric shift, you'll want the OMC controller. Or you'll have to rig up a switch to change gears.

    Not so sure about the highback seat in the stern, but I like the look of the boat and the lights and speakers are pretty cool lookin'. Congrats on the splash.

    My latest entertainment is when the calls come in because my cars warranty is ending, I select "1" to speak with an agent. They always start by asking to verify the year and make of my car. So, I started with a 1908 Ford and time how long it takes them to hang up on me. I'm up to a 1930 Buick.

    I've been using as much open source software as I can. I still have a subscription for Adobe, but that's mainly so I'm completely compatible with my clients. Otherwise, I can accomplish most everything with open source stuff and get good results.

    I think once the ballast tanks are empty on 'em they ride well enough: not gonna' be like a tri-hull anyway. There are a couple of boating clubs that you can use one through here in TN: might be worth paying the fee for a couple of months to try one out.
